June Ring Results.

I had my best month of ring NLHE results this year.
I got over $3,000 winning at every level ($25/hr, 123 hours).
An additional ~$1,500 in rakeback/FPPs.
It was also my second highest volume month this year.

Non-ring (ie. PLO, HL Stud, MTT, SNG, freerolls etc.) was a disappointing +$70 and a waste of time.

Crazy session.

Instead of playing my normal 24 tables of full ring, I played a wide variety of games/limits today.

-$550 in PLO($2)(6-max) to get me started. I short stacked, played loose/bad, and lost several $200-$400 flips. Was probably about $400 below EV, but no way to calculate it.

+$200 in $30/$60 Stud H/L. I should not be playing this high limit, especially 2-4 handed which it was the entire time. Of course the giant fish won as well, pretty much all off of one of the other players. The majority of the time it was 3 good players and one fish. I missed several freerolls that I could have won an extra $400 here or there if I paired up my low or hit my flush or straight, but it was not to be. I was lucky not to have exited with a $500 loss, which it was until I got a good swing in the heads-up and I quit. It was also really annoying to get raked $2 every pot 4-handed and only earn 1 VPP (ie. 11% rakeback as Supernova).

+$200 in HU NL ($1),($2), and ($4). Here is the biggest winning pot. I still can't figure out if the guy was value-betting or bluffing the river.

+$30 in a variety of 6-max and other short handed games.

It feels great to take a $120 loss after being down $550, and as much as $1100 at one point.

Longest session.

I got back from Vegas last night after trying to buy another rental property there. Instead of going to sleep like a normal person after being busy all day and driving 5 hours, I play my longest consecutive session ever (7 hours, 8800 hands).

After being down basically the entire time, I started closing all my tables when I was at -$5, and had a nice little run at the end. I also earned $155 in FPPs.

Two days of run bad.

I have run bad the last 2 days.
At least I broke even (largely due to people going allin drawing dead).

Coincidentally ... I did a cashout 2 days ago ... you be the judge.
The good news is that e-check cashouts are working again!

Of course my biggest loser is AA, losing $80 over 21 times holding it. 4 losses (-$103: AAvQQ AIPF, -$50: top set vs flopped flush, -$30: overpair folded river, -$38: AAv99 allin on flop - river 9)

Here is a weird hand, I am sure if I posted it on any strategy forum it would be massively criticized. http://www.cardschat.com/hand/8060 I have 77 on a 79Q44 board and never make an aggressive move until the river, and then I fold to the 3-bet shove. I am 90% certain the guy had 99. The stupid thing is that I hardly ever take the line of caling behind twice when I flop a set after I cold call preflop. It was just a weird situation with his bet sizes and the fact that he cold called preflop too (in earlier position).

Oh well, I will never know if I was right.
Time for a couple days off ...

Misclick tilt.

What a disaster this hand was. 1) Failed attempt to backraise preflop. 2) Misclick fold on the flop. 3) Trying to check hand history and time out on 24 tables. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!

Stacks: UTG with $98.50 UTG+1 with $117.95 MP1 with $112.45 MP2 with $144.80 CO with $134.90 BTN with $51.75 SB with $111.35 BB with $100.00
Dealt to MP2:K♥ K♦
Preflop: 2 players fold. MP1 raises $2.50 to $3.50 Hero calls [$3.50] 4 players folded. Total folds this street: 6 Potsize: $8.5
Flop: 2♣ A♦ K♠
MP1 bets [$5.50] Hero folds. Uncalled bet ($5.50) returned to MP1 MP1 collected $8.10 from pot MP1: doesnt show hand Total folds this street: 1

Was planning to play a few hours, but ended up closing all the tables after 1.5 hours after this disaster. I wonder how much money that misclick cost me.

Mid-June update.

Well the analysis of last month has paid off the last couple of weeks.
Either that or I got lucky.

I got PokerTracker 3, but I haven't had a chance to fully customize it, so I have still been using my old set-up. It will take some time to import some hands, and configure the HUD correctly. In the long-run it should be a good upgrade to start using some more stats like 3-betting and CBet information etc.

I did have a some monster tilt the first 10 days of the month over 20,000+ hands, because I was worried that the tenant was not going to pay his rent, and I took out my anger in the PL($0.25) and PL($0.50) full ring games to try and minimize the damage that would be cause if I did it at NL($1). Look at those awesome stats.
During one session, lss11013 stacked me for 4 full stacks. TTvAA allin on dry flop, 22vAA set vs overpair and NFD, Q7v22 short-handed on 247T7 board, AKsvQ8 semi-bluff on T92J missing 11-outer.

I was running well at NL($1) without too many allin preflop drawouts until today where I had a bad -$350 session, where I could not win a decent pot. KKvAK AIPF ... good 5-bet allin for 111 BBs buddy.

I just bought the 4 insta-cash credits from the FPP store, $2,584 for 161,500 FPP. There is currently a question about cashouts though after e-checks and checks were bouncing last week, as I would like to get some of this money.

I have played only a nominal amount of tourneys, S&Gs, freerolls, and non-hold'em poker and haven't won anything there.

Overall the month has been good and I plan to keep playing well.
